Vision Therapy

Dr. Rubin and Dr. Ng-Yow are both extremely experienced in the area of Vision Therapy, which has proven remarkably successful in the treatment and rehabilitation of all binocular vision impairments. Binocular impairments include those which impair a child or adult's ability to use their eyes efficiently as a team, including conditions such as lazy eye (amblyopia) and crossed eyes (strabismus). Vision Therapy can be used to correct these impairments both cosmetically and visually.

What is Vision Therapy?

Vision Therapy (also known as vision training, visual therapy, behavioral optometry or orthoptic therapy) is essentially physical therapy for the brain and eyes. By utilizing various types of eye exercises, significant improvements can be made in the eye muscles' ability to work as a team.
